Sustainability & Environmental Responsibility
1. The Fabric of Responsibility: High-Grade Natural Fibers
Our commitment begins with the fibers we meticulously select. By choosing renewable, natural resources, we ensure our products are both high-quality and gentle on the earth.
-
Pure Silk: We use 6A grade Mulberry silk, chosen for its quality, longevity, and natural sourcing from silkworms. This includes our classic satin weave and the slightly more structured feel of our silk twill.
-
European Linen & Japanese Cotton: Our premium bio-washed linen from Europe is sourced from flax—a highly renewable plant. We also feature beautiful, high-quality Japanese cotton known for its durability and excellent print quality.
-
Liberty London: We are proud to feature iconic fabrics from Liberty, including the luxurious Tana Lawn cotton and the elegant silk satin and silk twill weaves, all renowned for their timeless design and quality.
2. Low Impact, High Quality
We minimize our environmental impact by controlling our processes and material choices:
-
Eco-Friendly Dyes: For our exclusive printed scarves, we partner only with trusted suppliers who use eco-friendly dyes to significantly reduce water pollution compared to traditional methods.
-
Handmade & Low-Waste: The majority of our collection is handmade by me in our small UK studio. This approach results in minimal material waste compared to large-scale manufacturing, as we carefully cut and utilize our fabric remnants.
-
Longevity is Sustainability: Our focus on quality craftsmanship means we create durable accessories that are designed to last for years, promoting a slow-fashion approach and reducing the need for constant replacement.
