Our name, "River Minami," is a harmonious fusion of English and Japanese words, evoking the essence of the Jiangnan region in China. "Minami" translates to "south," and in this context, refers to the legendary "South of the River" Yangtze. This region has an illustrious history as a hub for the textile trade and is particularly renowned for its connection with silk production.
